Foam Washing

7:30am on a Saturday morning even before the sun is up...

... I got up extra early (over excited) to give my freshly detailed Euro a wash down. I also just received my new "toy" earlier that week so can't wait to give it a swirl this very weekend. Pulled out the Pressure Washer and pre-rinsed the entire car once. Mixed a concoction Autoglym bodywork shampoo/conditioner and away I went.

Initially I had to play around with the mixing ratio till I got a desired consistency.

Once I am happy with it, I smothered the entire car with foam and boy was it fun!!

The foam was then let to dwell for a couple of minutes to allow it to shift off most of the dirt.

Then I proceeded to rinse off the entire car on a medium pressure. The water beading were quite impressive, clearly the 2 layers of Collinite Marque D'Elegance I laid on a few days ago held on very well. I expected no less from one of the most durability waxes in the detailing industry.

Probably my favorite beading shot of all, just look at the tightness of the beads. You can just see the clouds in the largest bead. Very Happy Lovely.

Proceeded to dry to car with my microfiber towel and some quick detailer, I did the entire car without even ringing the towel even once. Best drying towel I have used up to date.

A break in the clouds with this shot, reflection off the roof.

Here you can the metallic paint flakes popping.

More clouds off the roof.

Here are a more couple of reflection shots of the body. Unfortunately the sky started to get a tad overcast so the picture weren't all too impressive. I layered another 2 coats of Collinite insulator wax for added protection.

Rims sealed and tyres dressed.

The neighbors' lovely roses were give off a fragrant scent as I was detailing the car. Nice!

Overall I am very thrilled having so much fun washing the car, I've order 5ltrs of commercial grade foaming shampoo and can't wait to give that a blast the next time. I have seen it clean brake dust off the rims without agitation, lovely stuff.

Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did... can't wait to it all over again!
